The members were part of a series of trusses that allowed train movements in and out of 30th Street Station and central Philadelphia. Originally part of the PRR system, the bridges were removed in the 2015 time frame due to severe corrosion, concerns regarding capacity etc. Various components, including top chord, and bottom chord, and bearing were donated by CSX Transportation.
